How do I start?

Start with setting up your pedal collection. Click the 'My pedal collection'  button to enter the pedal library.

 

How do I set up my pedal collection?

In the pedal library, you will find a set of pedal model templates on the right hand side. If you click one and hold down your finger, a copy of the templated will be created and you can then drag it to the left hand side into your pedal collection.

 

How do I change the colour and knob layout of a pedal?

Now you have a pedal in your collection but it is still grey and has the default knobs layout. You can edit it by clicking on it, the pedal will now be displayed large and you can rotate it by dragging. There are buttons for colour and knob layout at the bottom of the screen.

 

What a customizable pedal?

This pedal is used to create pedal models that are not available in the template collection. In the template section select the pedal that features an arrow symbol on top. This is a pedal that is adjustable in its length and the number of knobs. If you add it to your collection and click on it you will find two additional joystick controls on the left and the right hand side of the screen. By dragging the left control to the right or left you can increase or decrease the pedals length and by tapping on the right control you can change the number of knobs. 

 

How do I navigate through the pedalboard models?

If you click the 'Pedalboards library' button on the main screen, you enter the pedalboards library. Here you will find all of the currently available standard Smith & Stange pedalboard sizes. You can walk through them by dragging horizontally. The next pedalboard will snap into position automatically. Most of the models have options for a Wah or Volume pedal slot which can be accessed using the button next to the colour setup wheel.

 

How do I put pedals onto a board?

Above the board, there is the clipboard holding the pedal collection that you have set up. If you click a pedal and hold down your finger, the pedal will be appear duplicated (semi-transparent) you can then drag it onto the board. The ghost image indicates the position where the pedal will be placed on the board after you lift your finger.

 

How do I remove pedals from the board?

You can drag the pedal off the board or just click it. It will then return to its original position at the top of the screen.

 

How can I view my pedal setup in detail?

By clicking the preview (eye) button on the right hand side, your finished pedalboard setup can then be rotated through 360 degrees to any 3D angle. You can also zoom in/out with the magnification glass button. When zoomed in the pedalboard can be moved around by dragging.
